Electricity meters and emergency credit. When your electricity meter beeps it s a warning that you ve got less than 50p of credit left. Pay for the amount you would like to top up on each device and simply put them in your meter when you get home. Put the key into the meter press the blue button repeatedly until screen r is displayed.

You can do this by popping it into the meter and leaving it there until it beeps. Dirty or damaged key give the contacts on your electricity key a clean with a dry toothbrush or cloth.

Take your gas card or electricity key to any paypoint or payzone outlet gas electricity or post office gas only. If that doesn t work or you think your key is damaged you might need to get a replacement fill out this form. Screen r shows you how much emergency credit you have available. Give your key or card to the store assistant.

How we can help. The first information screen will appear there is a number in the bottom right corner of the display to tell you which screen you. At this point we can give you 5 emergency credit. See if you re eligible extra help we offer a range of special services for customers who need a little extra help managing their energy.

To get your emergency credit just insert your key into the meter and it will transfer your 5 credit. Fill out our application form to see if you re eligible. You need to give either your gas card or electricity key to the employee in the store. The shop assistant that is working will then ask you for the amount that you want applied to your key or card.

You need to let the employee at the store know the exact value amount that you want put on your card.
